- Reed: The rift here is partially how I found this place.
- Reed: After Aria ran off, I mean...
- Reed: I faintly detected something, and realized she was running towards it.
- Reed: So, lucky for us indeed, you two happened to be right where it is.
- Nino: Huh... so there really was a rift nearby after all.
- Nino: I'm glad that turned out to be true!
- Reed: ...Yeah, but... how did you know?
- Nino: Oh... I'm actually not sure.
- Reed: Amnesia again? That's getting old, man.
- Nino: It's not a bit! And I don't think it's that, but...
- Meimona: Ummm, somehow...
- Meimona: I just realized I knew that there might be a rift here too!
- Meimona: Buuuut I dunno who told me, really.
- Meimona: Maybe Nino did, and then we both forgot?
- Aria: That's even more unbelievable than the amnesia explanation!
- Aria: This is news to me too, you know...?
- Reed: Were you told that there'd be one by a spirit?
- Nino: Huh, like what they've been saying to you guys?
- Nino: I'm not sure... I kind of think so, but I don't remember.
- Meimona: I think we'd totally remember it if something like that happened!
- Meimona: 'cause I was with you too, and I'm no amnesiac!
- Nino: Aah... it's just so weird. I think...
- Nino: So many things have happened in such little time that I can't really organize the details in my head right now?
- Meimona: Mm-hm, I feel the same way!
- Reed: ...Fine, then. It's not too important anyway.
- Reed: We'll worry about the explanation some other time.
Reed: Temporarily lead the way.
- Nino: I wonder why the barrier behaved so differently back there.
- Reed: That's something I have absolutely no answer for.
- Reed: It's not like anyone got to study the barrier's behavior.
- Aria: No one can! I mean... how would you, really?
- Meimona: I guess the only way to know is to try?
- Meimona: But I'd rather not be one of the lil' rats in that particular experiment!
- Nino: Based on where everyone ended up after exiting, I think...
- Nino: Leaving the barrier separately may be what divided us.
- Nino: People who left together remained together, like Reed and Five.
- Nino: And those who left close to others, but not at the same time,
- Nino: Still ended up relatively close to one another.
- Nino: But it seems distances become very exaggerated when you're out...
- Reed: Yeah. You and Mei weren't that far from us within the barrier,
- Reed: But our groups ended up a whole region apart outside of it.
- Aria: You two also left through a different rift from us...
- Meimona: Yeah! That's gotta be why we landed somewhere so distant, right?
- Nino: Mm. That part I can confidentally say I understand better now, but...
- Nino: I don't know why the barrier itself seemed to be "pushing" against us, still.
- Reed: That has never happened to me before. Not when I was alone,
- Reed: And not when I was with Aria, Five, and Ludwig, either.
- Meimona: Auuuh, is that going to be an issue on the way home too...?
- Aria: I think it'll be a lot less dangerous if we're prepared!
- Aria: Because, if anything happens again... we won't be taken by surprise now.
- Aria: And this time, we know what we can do to stay together, don't we?
And, in the worst case scenario, if you're forced to be separated again...
Only Five needs to exit together with someone else, hand-in-hand.
After all, there's no issue with humans or a winged ending up scattered across the human world, is there? And so long as Five stays disguised, Aria can track her down!
Even if worse comes to worst, you'll still be in a lot less danger compared to now.
Hearts steadied by these reassurances, you press forward.
Nino: Contemplate.
It's a do-over, a chance to try, to never repeat your previous mistake.
This time, there's no need to be so rash.
Yes, it's better not to think about what lead you to cause this mess ever again. That terrible dream must've influenced you somehow, and not in a good way at all!
So what if getting your memories back is delayed a little?
Even if it is an urgent matter, you'll just have to pretend it isn't.
No matter how anxious you feel, risking their lives cannot be justified. Otherwise, you'd never be able to call yourself this party's leader anymore.
It's a miracle that you still are, somehow.
Nino: Now let's go check that rift out.
- Reed: Here we are.
- Reed: It should be around here.
- Meimona: Whoa... look! It's a pyramid!
- Aria: What a massive structure!
- Meimona: I see guards by the entrance...
- Nino: Why did you bring us here, Reed?
- Reed: This is where the signal is.
- Nino: Huh? No way...
- Aria: Are you saying the rift's inside of that!?
I still don't trust what's going on after that bleeding clock...
Well, I guess that's confirmation that they really did forget Avery(?). Hopefully they'll find some way to remember him somehow later down the road.
Also, I was wondering if this pyramid that the rift's inside might be the one we've seen on some maps that's been bisected by the barrier, but looking at the image, that seems unlikely. I'm not sure how a rift could appear in a normal pyramid that's not touching the barrier, though. Maybe it's through an underground tunnel or something?
